As he sketched and painted some of his favorite people and places, Jack established the very first art gallery in San Pedro in 1980 to display his finest works. Today as Belize continues to change,Jack is still very busy painting and sculpting images of the Belize he loves to call home.

Chris Emmanuel - Original Oil on Canvas
"Through the art of intense learning comes art. Like the grinds left after a fresh brew of coffee. The coffee is the knowledge- the sweet bitter taste of life's lesson. The grind is the art-it is the hard fabric of what is left of the journey- the proof, passed and frozen in time. As the coffee to the grind-so the experience is to the art." Chris Emmanuel

Alissa Reid - AlissaArt.com - Luscious landscape and reflections on the human experience are captured in contemporary acrylic and oil paintings.

Her art gallery is located on Barrier Reef Drive one and a half blocks north of the clock. She spends most of her afternoons on the beach, painting and giving children art lessons. Walter Castillo - Walter Castillo is a self taught artist who grew up in San Pedro, visiting Caye Caulker as his playground. Early in his teens, he started traveling in Belize and mingling with people from many different cultures: Mayas, East Indians, Creole and Garinagu with which he lived from 13 to 17 years old. His use of vibrant colours and people so full of life springs up from his paintings.
"I get positive energy from nature, music, animals and friends and pass it to those who come across them through my paintings."
He had his 1st successful exhibition in England in 1990, where he met a lot of people that loved and appreciated his work. From then on, his pass as international professional artist started. After living many years in hectic San Pedro, he moved to a studio house in the peaceful village of Bullettree Falls near Cayo.
